Gargoyle: "Do you think they will give us trouble?"
Saikan: "Doesn't matter. We have to go in regardless, don't we?"
That dialogue would make more sense if I could write the story. But it would be towards the end of it.
Another quick doodle of these two. And I decided to make Saikan's species look a bit rhino-like. When I first drew him I sorta joked his kind was a "rhino iguana"... and that just clicked something in me today. Also, I opted to make his right arm and half of the left cybernetic. Saikan wears stretch pants as well as boots and a reinforced crotch plate (to keep any kicks there from being too painful). He should be wearing a shirt like the other agents of his organization, but he finds them very uncomfortable and thus goes about shirtless.
This will be finished some other time. There are other ideas I need to finish first.
Comments, likes and RT's here and in Twitter are much welcome and appreciated. I read them all, even if I can't reply to everyone.

Without revealing too much, he's more or less what his name implies. When he and Saikan first crossed paths, he was a stone statue. But upon contact with living beings, he absorbs some of that being's "life force", stone is replaced with flesh and he becomes animated. Depending on the creature. this could be from a few minutes to several hours, or even days. Saikan, by virtue of his origin as a "ninja" (part of my story) has quite a bit of life force, and thus can animate Gargoyle for a long time. Even more so when the two of them... well, you can imagine. But even when Gargoyle is a statue, he still lives, although not in the same way someone like Saikan (that is part of the story). The original "Techno City Ninja" picture -- https://www.furaffinity.net/view/1859494/ -- shows another of these statues coming to life as Saikan unknowingly touches it. My first version of Gargoyle is the one behind Saikan.
Their first encounter was not peaceful, and Saikan was on the losing end of that fight. Comabat turned into some dialogue, and both found out they could help each other instead. This uneasy truce turns into an alliance later in the story.
As to why is he called Gargoyle, that is how Saikan called him. The creature liked the word and took it as his name.
