Welcome Ladies and Gentlefurs under the sun of the Bahamas, as per usual the cream of the crop of this UFFL season meets for the 2019 Pro Bowl, as the Continental League will face off against the pros from the United league.
Seems like both teams where in to play for pride on this lovely day as first quarter say the Continental League start with the ball. With Aspen Redfield at the helm the attack quickly went down the field as at 12:18 Redfield finds Jackie Knight for a 12 yards touchdown catch, making it 7-0 Continental.Throughout the quarter, the United conference didnt seem to manage much, as after an incursion int he continental red zone they were stopped at the 3 yard line, and had to settle with a 20 yard field goal by Smith, making it 7-3 at 6:28. Then Continental would take the opportunity to add points on more yardages by Jackie knight, as they kick a field goal at 3:42 to make the game 10-3 Continental conference as thing went on up to the end of the first quarter.
The second quarter will see the game grinding to a halt, as both teams went on to throw around their many starting running backs as both went mostly in attempting to rush down the opposition. At a certain point the United Conference managed to come the closest to the redzone, but had no choice but to kick a 30 yard Field Goal at 3:12, making it 10-6 Continental conference. Things would remains close as such till halftime, as the Pros are locked into a close defensive battle, with the Continental leading 10-6.
Third Quarter, both pro teams continues to play neck and neck, until Appleby connect for 31 yards with Bakari as they manages to again by stopped at the redzone as the United Conference kicks at 8:20 for a 10-9 continental conference lead. United would gain momentum as they continued to rush the ball on the Continental defense, as around 2:07 on a second and goal, Appleby tries to connect with fellow Montreal Royal Keonte Hughes by is intercepted by Heineken at the 1, and returned it the other way for 61 yards. Seems it was a huge blow for the United conference, as moments later Darell Paige pass to Furchet for 1 yard to give the Continental conference a 17-9 lead at the end of the third quarter.
Fourth and final quarter, the United conference was not about to give up. On their intial possession they managed to push into Continental zone but again only had a field goal to show for as it was not 17-12 Continental conference at 10:11 of the fourth. Then both teams would give us a sacking clinic as both United and Continental Quarterbacks were brought down on several occasions. But a turnover on downs at 2:21 of the fourth was the break the Continental conference needed to pull away as they would then kick another field goal to make it 20-12. With only 1:06 left in the game, it was the last chance for the United Conference but a sack by Okalinga Miller on Appleby pretty much sap the last of the United team energy as moments later they would turnover on downs one last time to have the Continental Conference wins the Pro Bowl 20-12. The player of the game was Jackie Knight, with 3 receptions for 71 yards, and a Touchdown.
