I have returned... with art... much much better art... I could not contain my jow and I even had to appear! I was going to the elastic thing again... I think I overplayed it a little too much but this is the largest picture that I have ever drawn and I am used to drawing teeny ones for my webcam... This being said... I have a new scanner... I feel... excellent... Now enjoy my art! please?

Yeah, it is a little hard to make white things shiny... that and after drawing for so long on the same piece of paper it is as though it won't let you shade the same anymore... I bet I have to make sure my pencil is the only thing that touches the paper... Oh, possible dirty joke in there not intended.
that's much better <3 i can see the body shading so much better, on the scans i didnt really see them clearly but i can see the work and observation that went into it :)
I don;t think you overplayed the elasticity too much at all, it's a little high up but i suppose lizards like him dont have the ribcage like mamals. In short, it looks wonderfull ^_^

This was all done without any real referance either. I mean sure I have seen reptiles and such before, but I did not have up a picture at the time. So there are a couple glitches to be sure. That might be why the stretching appears to be a bit high up. Though I think I was trying to go for the reptile holding the prey within (Not sure what) from underneath causing the overall mass to the front so the for could be bulging outward adn upward slightly over the ribcage... however this could just be a "Stretch" hah! I am so going to hell for my puns... anyhow... I am not sure. It wasn't intentional... that's for sure. ^^"
X3 lol
I see what you were trying to get, it joins a little too high up, that upper bulge should go further on his body and actually it can work like that, typically he'd eat something his stomach would bulge out and downwards under his chest, i've seen my lixards when they gorge, it can be very plyable <3

Yeah... I beleive that it would sag lower down on the body as well, though I think the reason why I had drawn it upward would be that I was running out of paper space... that happens to me a lot... >< Hehe... something about pliable elasticity. It is just fun to draw....
Hehe, to be honest... I all know is that I am not meant to be a digital artist... I think I might be a bit too old fashioned or I need better than what my lappy has to offer. I have never toyed around with a tablet though... I think I do best on the smaller pieces of paper... I mean I run out with them alot, but at least they usually have the more correct proportions and such rather than some of my larger drawings... >>
That is probably it to be honest. Since nearly everything that I have done has been on a paper medium making working on a computer screen a little strange and new. Yes, color takes a lot more power than simple black and white or... rater greyscale. I noticed this on my scanner. I switched it to greyscale and the scanning time was easily cut in half.
