2019 art, more fun with creature design and possibly alien races.

People on DA seemed to like those Space Kangaroos, so here's another alien marsupial creature I just sorta came up with randomly. Started with a pose I liked, combined some elements of possums (Australian possums, not North American opossums), sugar gliders, and the like... and wound up with a design I liked.

I never did much else with the design, and I'm still waiting for that spark of inspiration to make them a canon part of my universe--I considered them being distant cousins of the desert-dwelling Wallakarrans, and being an arboreal species living in the small yet dense forested region of the planet, although it might also be a good idea to create their own world for them to come from, or even have them be one of the many nomadic races roaming the galaxy, with no real defined homeworld or point of origin, and with small populations setting up little communities on any world that will have them.
