I feel honoured that I was allowed to make this one *happy*
Sadly can not join in this con this year due to univerity sedules ^.^
But I am looking forward to next year!
TO THE PICTURE:
on top is a dible dormouse http://www.duesseldorf.de/umweltamt.....rInternGr2.jpg an european animal which name is in German "Siebenschläfer" ( directly translated would be "the animal that sleeps seven times/months long) and becuase it's the seventh Berlicon it's the mascott of this years convention.
In the back you see a german Victory column of Berlin http://www.berlin-info.de/fileadmin.....egessaeule.jpg.
SO yes a VERY German picture! :D

Lovely work in a very cute reinterpretation of the very martial Siegessäule (which has become since long more a friendly "symbol" than it was originaly).
Brings back old memories from nice walks (despite in the cold winter time) in Tiergarten.
The well mastered constrast and limited palette will make a nice print on a tshirt for sure :)
