Back when I first saw this I wondered where you found out 'hob' = male mustelid... I'd never seen that term used elsewhere.

Hobs and jills are usually used in reference to ferrets, but I think these terms extend to weasels/stoats/ermines as well. Badgers, on the other paw, are rather unflatteringly referred to as boars (males) and sows (females). Even worse, male otters are called dogs and the females are bitches!

I love the mind games that Miniver is playing with Shadow.

Awwww. Poor female weasel. If only she can be upfront with her feelings, instead of leading Shadow on and playing games with him. Squaaaaaaawk!

It's amazing how the two characters like/love each other (especially later on in the comic when they've had a fight, go their own separate ways, and end up thinking about each other -- all inside of a broken heart).
