Too many people claim to be Christian -- but do not display the friendship that God's commandments stand for. Conversely, too many claim to be loving and tolerant -- but don't seem this way when faced with people who hate parts their lifestyles.
As a Christian, I believe the world was made for friendship. However, I won't always agree with others on what counts as healthy friendship. According to the Bible, woman was made to be man's closest companion. For that reason, a man is to love his wife as his own body.
In my work, I hope to be as religiously neutral as my conscience can allow. I wish to be gentle and respectful to those who don't share my religion. This way, I can host a forum where people who want to be friends can find common ground.
I take inspiration from My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic. Certain values that conflict with mine were quietly promoted -- mainly in the form of suggestive language I could ignore. Those values were pushed about as hard as they could be without feeling forced on me.

If anyone wants to have a dialog, feel free to message me. This way, we don't cause drama on an art page.

It appears to me that many people are confused about what “tolerance” means.
“Tolerance” does not mean that people agree with your beliefs or lifestyle. Far from it!
According to the dictionary, “tolerance” means you accept others' behavior or beliefs — even when you don't agree with or approve of them.
But what about people who won't tolerate you in return? How can we accept that?
Remember: Our goal should be to live in peace. Returning intolerance for intolerance makes things worse. Instead, we must show our enemies that we want to be friends!
Of course, we cannot allow people to cause significant harm to others. Good friends protect their friends when they really need to!

This is a very good point, Starburst. This is why, through CWLTP, I have worked to develop a model that bases itself off of the following...
1: Acceptance - Knowing others are different, you do not have to like what makes them different. You just need to be okay with that part of whomever you are with and respectfully let them know you disagree and wish to not focus on that area of discussion.
2: Understanding - Knowing everyone is struggling, to some degree, with self-esteem. If you do not like something about someone, you should not put them down for it. Instead, let then know you respectfully disagree without getting too into details as to why, unless asked. Providing resources, like places that may fit that part of that person, is helpful.
3: Empowerment - Finding qualities in a person that can be used for them to build their self-esteem, not feel shame over who they are, and helping them find the right resources to become a better person.
4: Community - Welcoming everyone to be a part of your friends and groups. If it is not compatable, you direct the person to those you know who can welcome them into a safe place to build upon their self-esteem.
The biggest issue is how, particularly in the past century, people giving in to hate and prejudice without getting to know more of what makes a person beyond the thing that bothers them. Mankind is diverse both inside and out. Being able to take a moment to appreciate what makes a person special over nit-picking small parts of a person is what leads to strife, low self-esteem, and ongoing prejudice.

It’s fascinating to learn a little more about Europe. In America, secular humanism is not the major threat to religion. Rather, it’s people calling themselves evangelicals who align with right-wing extremists. I now feel that true religion is as dead in America as in Europe. Existing but barely breathing.
In America, right-wing extremism has been trying to hijack my religion. Meanwhile, in Poland, it seems left-wing extremists are hijacking the LGBT community.
At first, it seemed that Trump was starting to define the Republican Party. Now he and his core supporters are trying to do without the goodwill of most Republican voters. If I understand you correctly, something similar may be unfolding between left-wing extremists and most in the LGBT community.
