Center bearing assemblies for the fan props on turbine windmills. The blades attach to the three points jutting out from the center.

BNSF has been hauling a ton of parts to some new windmill generatimg station being built in the midwest. The whole "your tax dollars at work" "cleaner energy" blah-blah-blah token project that would have never happened if these weren't the big political buzz points right now type of thing.

Most likely to Oklahoma or Sweetwater Texas would be my guess depending on direction of travel.

I know Texas especially around the Sweetwater area is using wind turbines to power entire small towns.

For Oklahoma it is all across the state from eastern to western Oklahoma.

We've had some coming through the northeast section of Wisconsin on trucks. They drove by my grandma's grocery store a bunch of times last summer. Can't remember where they were headed, but I've heard of more turbines popping up in Wisconsin.

It's because really rural areas need something to power them.

I wonder how trees will impact the turbines seeing as most of them are on open prairies or mountain sides.

I can tell you Freeport, Texas is a distribution point where they get these imported from other countries who are buying into this.

Washington is another distribution point as well but I'm not surprised to hear more rural areas are switching to wind power.

Will it work in the city?

I don't think so but you never know.
