I HIGHLY recommend sun conures (or any type of conure, really) to ANYONE who is interested in having a birdy friend. They are the cuddliest and most loving little boogers ever. XD Hee hee. Not too loud, either. (All birds can be loud, but I've had parakeets that were just about as loud as this one gets)

ooo that's cool! I used to have a blue and gold macaw (it was originally my uncle's) named lemons.. he was so loud :( and very bitey. but still awesome! I've been interested in getting a new bird and have been very interested in sun conures.. I'll have to check around me to see if there are any up for adoption!
Aha! If you could handle a macaw and enjoy their company while tolerating their ultra-loud screams, then a conure would be peace and quiet to you. XD lol! Some conure-lovers say that certain ones are louder than others, but none of them seem to agree on which ones. Folks have told me that nandays are louder than suns, others say its the other way around. Green cheeks tend to have smaller beaks than suns.. that's about all I know for sure. :}
