Here's an little explanation for this picturehttp://www.furaffinity.net/view/3758062/ and...The begining of my story.
Another day in the dark side of Savanna. Peaceful as always, no single predator has been seen here in a few months. Nothing strange about it, who can survive in a place like this? There was one group of meerkats, also known as “Akatsuki” or “The Red Moon”. All of them criminals, all from different countries, just like the leader and his partner. Group members had a feeling that those two were something more than just partners. And they were right. Pein and Konan soon became lovers, and then they started their own family. This is when their son was born. He had mother’s eyes and the behavior of his father when he was young. Pein decided to name him Udo, meaning peace, the goal he has been after for all his life.
After few weeks since Udo’s first steps, just like all children, he tried to explore the world all by himself, disobeying his parents that way. But he never crossed the border of Akatsuki’s territory his father showed around just three days ago. He knew there is a whole new world full of danger, where Udo could become a nice meal for predators. That day no one expected that one of them could enter the other side of Savanna. So did Udo. Playing around and searching for bugs to eat as usually, he was in the way to stampede. Knowing from fathers words that it is safe in here and now paw has stepped in here for years, Udo had no fear and decided to have a rest in here. It was too calm and quiet in stampede, what made Udo feel suspicious. Something was definitely wrong. Pein had this feeling as well, but didn’t pay much attention. Thinking that it’s just his imagination, Udo with a deep sigh glanced up to the sky. It looked like it’s going to rain soon.
-Must be father.-he thought, and closed his golden eyes. This is why he didn’t notice two little lights in the shadows. Slowly turning his head to the right Udo opened his eyes and saw...a big lion, ready to grab Udo with his sharp white fangs. You could hear his roar all over Savanna, and it didn’t miss Peins ears.
Meanwhile Udo was trying to run as far as he could from the stampede and the predator, hoping that father and his friends would protect him. But his arms and legs were too weak to run as fast as the grownups, and just when the lion had almost crushed little meerkat with his paw, Pein appeared out of nowhere, grabbed his son and left him in a safe place. He knew that battle is about to star between him and the outsider, there was just no other way. Pein couldn’t run away like a coward, and he didn’t want to. He was ready to risk his life for Udo and family. So Pein turned back and started running zigzag, trying to confuse lion. There was a cliff just in a few meters and Pein knew that very well. He was hoping that lion would fall for his trap. But as always, something has to ruin our plans, and in Pein’s case it was a rock. As he felled down on the ground, he couldn’t get up. Broken leg and a shock didn’t let him do it. Leader looked back and in seconds the half of his body was captured by lion’s mighty fangs. Pein couldn’t do anything but to look into the predators sparkling eyes. He knew that bustard would come back for Udo, so he found the will-power and scratched the area near lion’s eyes, leaving three scars from his little claws in both sides. Pein had enough straight to make it painful for lion. So the big cat unclasped his teeth and released Pein. And that’s when he decided not to waste his time in here and run away to search for prays. Pein was lying on the ground. Weak. Bleeding. Tears and blood from his eyes mixed. Then Udo and the others arrived. They realized- it’s too late. Udo walked forward to his dying father to spend these last minutes with him. With tear running down his cheeks, the little one listened closely.
-Fight for the ones you love, become a greater leader than I was. Bring a little light to our land, find your place in this big world…-he coughed with blood.-Don’t run, don’t hide, it will be all right. You’ll see, trust me, I’ll be there watching over you.-as it started to rain, Pein looked with his rinnengan up to the clouds.-Sky is crying again… -then he took a last breath and left his eyes open. Leader was no longer living. That moment Udo had a terrible feeling inside of him. His little soul and heart was broken, just like the glass, into thousand pieces. Now Udo wanted to see the killer of his father dead. He would do anything for that. Anything.
