Pollinator's character is my own, made for the DC universe

Description
Pollinator has a mutation that causes his hairs to produce pollen when he experiences strong emotions, though with concentration he can willfully prevent or trigger the process. While he typically produces his own unique strain of pollen, he can replicate the pollen of any plant he has touched.
With enough concentration, he can quickly germinate fully developed plant life from existing sources, though the process results in a rapid decay of the generated plant matter shortly after formation.
Through the assistance of H.I.V.E. technology, he is able to collect and store large quantities of his pollen, and eject those stores as needed. His tech provides him with pre-engineered flora ovules to which he can generate matching strains of pollen, allowing him to create brief bursts of specific plant life on the go.
His provided tech also enables him to fly, project low-powered stinger lasers from his gloves, and to generate a protective barrier.

Extraneous Factors
Limitations:
Pollinator can only produce so much pollen at a time before needing to recuperate.
Vulnerabilities:
Because Pollinator relies heavily on his provided HIVE technology, he is especially vulnerable to anti-tech techniques.
Due to the nature of his abilities, he is rather ineffective against fire-based techniques.

Backstory
Queen Zazzala is always on the lookout for obstacles to her powers of domination. Her H.I.V.E. vaults contain many confiscated artifacts that would blockade the efficiency of her Hypno-pollen. Pollinator was a minor blip on her radar due to his natural immunity to her hypno pollen. While he posed no real threat to her power, she could not risk any Justice League scientists discovering him and developing an antidote, and so she initially marked him as a target for her Assassin Wasps. Fortunately for him, before his demise she learned of his ability to replicate pollen.
Rather than having him killed, she recruited the lad, and charged him with keeping her stocks of hypno-pollen full. After gearing him up with specialized HIVE technology and putting him through Swarm Militia training, she allowed him to partake in field missions, where he could innocuously and directly deploy stocks of her hypno-pollen. With his high success rates, he has become one of her favorite assets.
He is extremely loyal to her, and is one of the few members of her inner circles who is not under the direct influence of her pollen.
