The enigmatic founder and sole proprietor of the Blackstar Corporation, known only as The Baroness. She prefers to take the form of a lopunny, but her Nanotex physiology allows her to take any form that she wishes.
She exhibits a domineering personality and revels in a very up close and personal hands-on approach in her dealings with others. She seeks to increase her company's following via aggressive (and occasionally illegal) recruitment methods. Recruits - willing or not - generally end up being converted into drones using the company's Nanotex technology.
Hypnosis, memory and personality alterations are commonly employed to ensure compliance and loyalty among newly converted drones. Reversal of both the conversion and mind-alterations is possible, but such reversals are almost unheard of in Blackstar, and it can be highly challenging for outside entities to perform the procedures themselves. In addition, the risk of raids by Blackstar against any entities performing these procedures also makes the provision of such services a risky undertaking.
Despite her current rubber composition, The Baroness used to be a perfectly ordinary lopunny until relatively recently. Information on her prior life is scarce, but it is known that she was originally from a middle-class background and was reasonably well practiced in martial arts and economics.
