So bold and so proud, this dragon rules the Storms.. But he's no tyrant, Cyrvalus is too classy for that! Pretty territorial fella ruling over an island, you'd better have some offerings to make if you mean business.

Ordered as an black and white sketch, I though 'why not get him some quick flats as the client was so generous..' Well, I found myself 5 hours later in the morning, sun already high up! xD

I struggle a lot too as the color balance is a thing to look out for. With some quality studies I'll eventually figure it out one day!

Goodness, I still can't stop looking at this one in awe. He came out so beautifully!
This just has such a feeling of being alive, so real to me! His colors and shape are perfect, the pose and expression are wonderful, and it has this feeling... I can't quite put the word to it, I can only say that it feels right in the deepest way. I'm so happy with it!
