The Shoulder Crasher is a small optical projector repurposed into a shoulder mounted energy weapon. When activated, photons are pulled from the space around it and a short range energy lance is emitted. The lens of the projector can be further tuned to act as a shield generator. As a weapon it's use is fairly limited as the power source is derived from the user's power armor if no field battery is provided. In almost every trial users could not aim the lance without being knocked off balance when fired, even War Walkers brought in for calibration purposes mentioned some difficulty with stability. As such it will not be adopted into widespread use, however during the last phases of testing it was reported that the Kirasisto was seen hurtling towards the test targets with a high output thruster array, moments before the wall of the proving grounds was destroyed. His final report insists that two projectors be outfitted to his pauldrons as soon as possible.
