Oh god guys, you have NO idea how proud I am of this. This is the first food experiment that actually tastes freaking GOOD.
So I'm gonna share the recipe, C: and submit it to
. You don't have to do it in the order I did but it worked out perfectly for me.
Ingredients
2 Chicken Breasts
1 12oz bag of Bowtie Pasta (or your favorite pasta)
2 Jars Alfredo sauce (I used one with mushrooms)
Grated or Shredded Parmesan cheese
Spices of your choice (I used Tony Chachere's for both sauce and chicken)
Garlic or Garlic Powder
Onion Powder
1. Boil water for pasta and pour jars of Alfredo sauce into saucepan, adding in spices, garlic, and onion powder. Stir.
2. Boil Pasta (You can add in a small amount of butter to keep them from sticking). Warm sauce and stir.
3. While you're waiting for the pasta this is a good time to start to cut up the chicken breasts into as big of dices or strips as you please. When Pasta is done, drain.
4. Toss chicken into a skillet with spices, cook thoroughly (Don't want any salmonella poisonings). When chicken is cooked, toss into sauce and coat chicken. *Around this time you can preheat the oven on about 350-400.
5. Put drained pasta into casserole dish (preferably a some what large one like in the picture), then top with sauce and chicken, mix and coat pasta.
6. Top with grated or shredded cheese. (For texture I sprinkled on some bread crumbs). Put in oven and let cook for about 5-10 minutes or until cheese is melted.
7. Serve and Enjoy!
You don't have to put it in the oven but ohmygawd it makes it good.
