I have a soft spot for the Phoenix Wright games, and sometimes that bleeds into the characterisation of any Lawful characters I make in tabletop games like D&D where an alignment system exists. Kooky and eccentric battle-lawyers who'll throw the book at villains (very weighty volumes at that) and bury them up to their eyes in paperwork can be a lot of fun to play. It seems harnessing the tedium of litigation as a magical force is something many enemies seldom expect!
This track is an experiment in capturing some of the elements of the kind of music seen in the likes of Phoenix Wright and the Professor Layton series, but with a bit of an Egyptian twist. Egyptian motifs come up in my characters very frequently... I can't help it, I love the aesthetic and feel so much.
This piece is courtesy once again of the wonderful
Tenshio and his musical talents!
My favourite part of this piece is definitely the small section from 2.38 - 3.06. It could definitely be part of another piece in the future.
