After spending some time in the jail cell (about 4 weeks), Goren came to release Levi and Don.
"Come on, you're time is up," Goren said. "Also, it's I give you a tour of this place and tell you your assignment."
Levi reluctantly got up and followed Goren out. Goren showed him all around the castle while explaining that Levi would take Don's place as Goren's squire.
"WHAT?! ArEn'T yOu BeInG a BiT fOoLiSh? ArE yOu SiCk, DiD i GiVe YoU bRaIn DaMaGe?"
"No, I am perfectly fine and serious."
"BuT-"
"No buts. You are my squire now and you will not complain. Oh, there's the royal jar..."
"Oh hey," said Harold.
Levi looked and was speechless. There it was, the jar his sister had used to collect his dust all those years ago. Then, as if possessed, Levi silently moved towards the jar and grabbed the lid.
"Levi, what are you doing? Stop!" Harold said, very uneasy.
Levi, not hearing him, pulled the lid off and touched the black dust inside. Suddenly, the dust flew out and swirled around Levi fast. Goren, speechless, could only watch as the dust struck Levi and turned his skin black. After a bit, it stopped and Levi looked the same except greyish black. Goren and Harold just looked at him in shock.
"OH GOD, I'M SORRY! I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING!" Levi shouted, horrified.
"No no, it technically was your dust!" said Harold, shocked.
"BUT-"
"O-once again, no buts," Goren said, still a bit shaken.
"That dust always bothered me anyway to be honest," Harold said, a bit relieved.
"Come on Levi, let's go," Goren said, recovered.
Levi walked w/ him and finished the tour. Afterwards, he told Goren that he needed some time to think. After all, the news of his new squirehood and the whole incident w/ his dust left him uneasy for now. Don, yet again, rubbed his buddy on the back.
