It was a hot morning. The kind that made Alistor's acid reflux take a turn for the worst. One step outside, and he would vomit. That's why he had the fans on full blast. He reached out to pet his cat Daniel. "Hey bud, how are you doing today?" He felt stupid. Why am I talking to my cat? Is it that hot?! He thought to himself. That air conditioner is NOT working well. Little did he know it was on full blast. He decided to grab a Tums, go to the BP and get a drink. On the way there, he spotted a puddle of weird black liquid. "What the hell?" It looked like ink, but smelled strange. Like nothing he'd smelled before. He continued to walk, but he couldn't get that stuff out of his head. His skin was goo under his watch, so he took it off. When he got there, he got a Coke and a few other things. At the register, the cashier warned him that he should probably tie his shoes. He paid, and walked home. About half way there, he tripped and landed face first in the puddle of goop. He tried to get up, but couldn't. The black goo was too sticky. The more he lay there, the stranger he felt. The aroma became stronger and stronger. Finally, it began to rain. He pushed loose and began to walk home. The rain was washing the goop off of him except for in his nose. Then, he felt something hit his hand. Not rain, but paint. He shrugged it off and continued. Soon, the paint was consistent. Alarmed, he began to walk faster. The phenomenon continued to get worse. Then, he saw a man running from around the corner. He grabbed Alistor and yelled, "RUN BOY, RUN!!!" Alistor jerked loose and ran the opposite direction. This day couldn't get any worse. He was wrong. In the distance was a large wave of paint rolling toward him. "Oh my GOD!" He wheeled around and ran as fast as he could, but that didn't last long. Within 40 feet, he was bent over wheezing for air. He tried to get a hold of himself, but to no avail. The wave was 12 feet away. As he took a breath, he was engulfed in paint.
