After the whole 'dust incident', Levi became Goren's squire. Despite Levi's unsureness and his self hatred, he ended up making an excellent squire. He followed Goren's orders to the letter and made sure to do double the work for each task he was assigned. The castle people came to appreciate him, Don was always w/ him for company as a spirit, and Goren, despite being unable to connect w/ Levi the same way he did w/ Donovan, still enjoyed having him as his new squire. Levi also makes weekly visits to Dr. Shade for deep therapy to help Levi w/ all his mental issues.
Finally,... Levi had asked Harold where his late sister's grave was. When he told where it was, he gathered many flowers and put them together in a big bouquet. He then made his way to her grave. When he got there, he slowly and shakily lowered the bouquet onto the part where her dust had been buried. Levi then dropped to his knees and cried over Ainelise's grave while Don patted his back. Levi then got up and left, knowing that his sister would've wanted him to keep on going no matter what. Strangely, Levi felt a comforting presence as he walked away. It definitely wasn't Donovan. No. It felt more like someone who's comforting presence Levi hadn't felt in years which caused Levi to cry w/ a smile as he left....
