TS Asks 10: Fav (and not-so-fave) Characters
For some reason I fell painfully behind on posting these publicly. Time to fix that!
Elaboration: Tanner has always been my favorite since the beginning, which is kind of funny to me because his character type is not actually my favorite thing? Comic reliefs are fun and I enjoy them, but he's kind of the annoying type of comic relief (more-so in Ch.1). Current chapters he's a lot more interesting to write for because, despite his chaotic nature, he does care. So he's more complex than when he was originally created as "lol the goofy one". I've enjoyed writing his scenes quite a bit!
Maybe it's because his design is the simplest or just because of his personality, but I always feel more comfortable pushing his body language and expressions as well! And you guys know how I love my expressions >:3c
Brandon, on the other hand... while his design is fun to draw (more-so in his current redesign) his character is just... frustratingly bland. I've already mentioned that if any characters were to get axed in a completely revamped TS [not going to happen, to clarify], Brandon would be one of them. I don't really know what his point ever was? He was the typical nerd trope, really, but he never had any specific purpose in the comic, and he still doesn't. I've managed to revisit his personality a bit and have shoehorned him into being a character that's not just a waste of space, but it's always aggravating for me.
Brandon is a sweet kitten child and that's the only reason he still lives. Mah smol boi.
