In this picture we have a clear image of the jet flames as well as beautiful sight of the shoulder-pad and armor. The painting style of the armor is clearly shown in the simple highlighting method I used from nearly black up to nearly grey.
I will say that the right shoulder-pad was one of the best parts and most fun to paint parts of this miniature. The detail on the feathered blood-drop is beautiful and the blood-drop gem made me happy to paint. You can also see some of the other detail around, including the OSL near the engine, on the back of the legs.
Also you can see the basing job including a piece of wreckage and more fast growing space crystals.

Thank you for the compliments on the paint job. I spent a good many hours painting it over three or four days. I spent on and off about 3-4 hours a day painting the base layering on the armor plating. I spent about 6 hours on the last day cleaning up and doing all the heavy detail work on the miniature.
Take the above with a grain of salt as I tended to game in between detailed layers on the miniature in order to allow the paint to dry and to give my eyes and hand a rest as I painted.
