Tannis was merely snuggling and playing with his friend Zeny, when things became a bit more ambitious as Zeny grew in size. In a matter of moments, all that remained of the coyote was his legs and tail sticking out of Zeny's mouth, before those too were slurped up and all of the canine was sent down to the waiting, hungry belly. :)
I love how this came out. The casual, playful posture of Zeny captures the dragon's personality beautifully, and his form and coloration came out wonderful. And of course, any time I see most of Tannis filling the mouth and gullet of a predator, I just have to smile. :D

Oh dear! I totally forgot you were Tannis in this picture here (and not the tasty Rodent!).
If the Looney Toons ever taught me something it's that Coyotes are not proud hunters! They keep getting blown up all the time! Unlike bald eagles, who are the TRUE proud hunters!
*puffs up his feathery breast and holds his head up high, standing up tall and proud just like any bald eagle should*
