Small and wary; little Moffie(s) are little friends. Atleast they can be but they're oh so easily spooked! Quick to flap away and hide in those little caves and crevices. They have reason to be like such though seeing as they're at the bottom of the little chain around these rainy parts. These little critters getting nabbed here and there by anything bigger than them; which is often alot of things. From lizards to plants to certain sluggy friends, they often find themselves inside some rather gooey and humid places that like to knead the little cuties. 'Massage' them really well~
Moffie(s) prefer places that aren't too bright for their little eyes are quite sensitive to light; they see much better in dim or dark areas where they can just dangle and hang around. They often like to just hang about like the batty looking critters; wings folded neatly like they're hugging themselves. Their ears good for listening out for any threats; they're also pretty nice to rub and pet if one gets close enough to do so. It certainly is a little weak spot for them! They have little thin fur covering their little forms that is soft to touch and oh so silky.
As mentioned, they're not exactly the biggest around; mostly big enough to fit in the palm of one's hand so easily. Though there are certainly Moffies out there that can be pretty big for their little species but still rather small compared to other beings. There seems to be a little ratio of 2:1 when it comes to male to female in the species; it is surely more likely to run into lil' batty winged lads if you go trying to catch one or two.
They're omnivorous critters that have a liking for fruits and any smaller buggy critter that they can get their little wings around. They might nibble on any little colorful plants; usually colorful is a good sign though that surely can backfire sometimes if not careful! Anything can happy in this rainy world where many things view as little cutie snack, or something to take care of any other uh.. needs hm~ Of course I would expand on the little Moffie critters from that one piece the other day. Gotta have lil ref for properly appearing more down the road so here's one for proper showing. Also they might look more like bats, which yeah that partly are, but also part moth. Also such lil cuties.
