...*giggle* Ya know I just HAD to, right? I mean, c'mon, his name is Reese, and he's a ginger tabby. Just needs him some brown in there... Heh. Had a lot of fun with those markings- all painted on the original orangey fur- two of the images show the tail on the fur that I cut it from. The last two inches of the tail are actually a white pile fur that I tinted to match the rest of the tail and faded into white at the very tip.
Anyway, here's a tail for you,
reese Wearable with or without full suit, just as you asked. This one is a bit longer than my usual tails, to accommodate your height.
Other parts of this big build will be posted as I finish them. And yes, that's Diva in one of the images, being baffled by the fact her mum suddenly has a tail, too! >^__^<

Thank you! I lived with, and loved, a wonderful ginger tabby by the name of Putza, and I used his markings as a base to work off of. Had to do it from memory, though, as my Sir Putterfurr of Kat lost his tail to an accident when he was five, and then passed away three years later in 2005.
reese wanted this to be a more realistic tabby- I'm doing a full suit for him. Making it lickety-split, too- it's gotta be finished by Califur in June!
I must be insane. *cue maniacal laughter*

I'm the one modeling the tail in this piccy, so you'll have an idea of what I look like. Assuming, of course, that you're not a prosopagnosiac like me (can't recognize human faces well- takes a lot of repeat exposures for me to remember a face. I usually just give up and go on the voice or what they often wear).
Egad, that would be nutz. I might have a head for you by then, though. Heh. Hand-paws, at least.
kilroy's gonna kill me 'cuz I keep putting off his plush.

From the LA Fashion District (
bought it several months back). It's this awesome ten blocks-square of just fabric, trims, lace, thread, polyfill and upholstery foam- all in little, teeny stalls run by little guys who act desperate for a sale. I drool every time I go down there. You have to watch out for some of the shop owners, though- some are a bit on the shady side. Most are cool folks, though.

Well, all I can say is dig around. I'm sure there's good fabric shops in B.C. I believe Fabricland is out there, too? If it is, hit them on a 50% off sale, or look for remnants of the fun furs. They don't always have the best furs, though, so you might need to shop around a bit (but they do get Monterey Mills stuff, which is decent).
Yeah, their prices are pretty bad- sad thing is, they were the cheapest place back home other than Economy Textiles. But ET was really low on the selection, , I worked at Fabricland and got discounts and only hit them up for fabric on the good sales or bought stuff off the Bargain wall. I'm constantly amazed at how cheap everything is in the U.S- that same fun fur we got for $35 a metre Canadian was maybe 18$ in the Fashion District, and they were often willing to bargain down. Being a costumer in LA is awesome.
Thanks, hon! Yeah,
had asked for combo of toony and realistic, leaning more toward the realism. >^__^< He's going to have toony eyes, and slightly toony paws, but everything else is going for more realistic. I had a goofy orange tabby for a while, too- called him Putza. "Squid"- awesome name for a cat.
