On the day of his wedding day with the mysterious zoo caretaker known throughout the creatures of the fair land as Joob, Crim waltz towards the altar in fear that his soon to be wife may fear she had been jilted by our one and only favorite red dog. And Ducky, once Crim's best friend now Crim's best man, was awaiting his arrival with diligent ease.
As Crim tip toed towards his one true love, a clap of thunder signaled the arrival of Crim's great grandfather: Xarok the wolf. First there was darkness outside, but then came the wind and a hole in the sky. Thunder and lightning came crashing down--hit the Earth and split the ground. Fire burned high in the sky. He summoned the demons that lived in the wind as his chariot drove through the storm.
Xarok crashed through the church and crushed a good fourth of the members there. Crim gazed in horror as Xarok mercifully slaughtered anyone in his path as he made his way over to the only member in his lineage left. Ducky beheld this monster and with a spin of a hurricane, he dashed out of there at 80 miles a day. And with a grip that could squeeze a mouse out of a mouse trap, Xarok hurled Crim into the air and gazed into his soul. In the archaic Nordic tongue that Xarok spoke in, he shouted at Crim: "you dare taint my bloodline even further by integrating a human creature into this?" Xarok could not take it anymore. The wedding had been crashed for ten minutes now. Xarok needed blood.
His berserker rage took over him and he made his way towards the critters that still happened to be in the zoo. One by ten he would annihilate them. And when all the animals were sent to their maker, he eyed Joob, who had been frozen in fear. With a smile upon his brow, he made his way over to her, and with a fell swoop of his claw, decapitated her and turned himself towards his only grandson.
"Let this be a warning to you, my heir. You will marry a wolf!" With that Xarok took off into the night never to be seen again until the next time he would appear.
Crim fell to the ground and cried. He cried for the ones who had given their lives to protect him. He cried for the ones who got crushed. He cried for Joob, who was now dead, and most importantly, he cried for Larry who was not hulked up enough to stop Xarok's endless rage. With nothing left for him he limped back home, and with a spark of curiosity in his brain, he wondered who would be a prime enough candidate for his great grandfather to be pleased with.
