The next morning, Fen woke up feeling better. Although he kept in mind he was officially banned from the banquet, he realized he was too late to the party anyway. He thought about a plan to crash the party and avoid detection so he could still have fun with his friends. He gathered some emergency castle break-in equipment and stored it in a bag he kept in his skin pockets. He was still slightly tired, so he yawned when he opened his front door, only to discover something that almost made him stop breathing. All of Faerie City was empty, and even the Techo and Scorchio guards were gone! Surely they must've all attended the party, right? So Fen took the streets as safe for him (for now), and decided to head for the castle. Only he had that bad hunch again, but he couldn't quite put his paw on it...yet...


Fun Fact: Even the nearby Rainbow River has seemed to have dried up for some reason right now...
