Roxxy slid off Chevals back quietly, the massive warhorse lowering his head for the tiny girl to slip the bit from his mouth. The soft clink of the metal bit folding as it slid off the stallion's tongue sounded like the slam of Bangor's hammers. Roxxy twitched at the sudden realization of the silence, her body tensing, readying for the inevitable attack that comes. A moment passed, and nothing happened... She turned, and as she did, time seemed to slow.. just a bit. The breeze from the sea cooled and swirled around her as the lanterns turned on, flecks of burning manna floating away in carefree curls.
Cheval felt his rider's fear, and nudged her into his shoulder gently. In a blur of blue and a groan of stretching leather, Roxxy was atop the massive beast as he reared up with a booming cry. He lunged, sprinting towards the crowd, giant hooves clapping against the cobblestone. The people gave a cry of surprise and fear, several falling back as the stallion gathered himself just a breath's distance from them. A rush of air pulled fire flecks around Cheval as he jumped over the people, the small girl clinging to his mane. The horse landed with a grunt on the other side of the gathering, metal decorations tinkering against one another as he shot off down the main road.
