This is a birthday present from one of my oldest and best friends  PumkinPatch. To give this picture context will take a minute, so... here goes. My mother often joked that she was part cow due to the fact that she had cow valves in her heart and loved anything related to them. Me and  PumkinPatch often gave her cow plushies, figurines, cookie jars... the list goes on. And here’s where it gets kinda heavy, folks... On November 18 2019, my mother who had survived three major heart surgeries and battled cancer not once, but TWICE, lost her battle and passed away. My mother was my hero. She accepted every part of me with a smile on her face. I only wish that I was brave enough to share this side of my life with her.

Pumkin has always had an almost eerie ability to be in my head, heh. She knew I was dreading my birthday this year as it will be my first birthday that I celebrate without getting a Happy Birthday from one of my favorite people. But with this picture, I get a piece of her with me, which made me realize that I always had a piece of my Mom with me. But the image certainly helps, haha. I’m not really the type to be public about my feelings and this is hard for me. I just wanted to post this so I could always have a place to see it. So that I would never ever lose it.
