One glance at you was all it took.
I want to be no longer mine.
Naught sates me like your hungry look,
make bodies meld and souls entwine.
One sound you made and I was sure:
To be engulfed by you is not my end.
To feed you is my spirit's cure,
beginning verily as yours to spend.
One lick, one gulp, and this I knew:
No way to take me from you now.
What possession ever quite as true,
as what your body claims as chow?
To the world I'm gone, you've taken me.
Yet I'm not to be erased but used.
By your depths embraced and fused.
I welcome it with all my glee.
The part of you I get to be.
Unmistakeably, I belong to you,
even after I've run my course.
Transformed and discarded once time is due,
as something so completely yours.
