In the digital world at one of the many small rookie villages that dotted the expansive and growing world. The said village was at the time under attack by a large Growlmon that was wrecking and taking whatever he could get his hands on.
Smashing out a window in one home, the red dino grinned as he pulled out a full refrigerator and swallowed it down like a piece of candy. As the house appliance landed in the Growlmon’s belly with a loud slosh, he chuckled before letting out a belch.
Licking his lips the large reptile continued his rampage unaware of a figure watching him from the rooftops.
A golden brown lion man in a pair of dark brown ninja pants with a belt of ninja weapons lining it. On his waist behind his back was a ninjato along with one on his back, on his head was a metal plated headband with it's tails fluttering in the wind along with a long scarf that covered his face.
Glaring down at the destruction the dino caused, the lion man leaped down and disappeared into the shadows like they were water.
Back down on the main road through the village the Growlmon was just finishing polishing a whole meat stand, both the products and the stand itself glided down his gullet.
Letting out another belch, the dino then grinned down at a few cowering rookies who were cornered by the champion digimon. Looking down at the group, the larger digimon licked his lips as bent down and picked up a cowering Patamon.
Holding the smaller mon above his mouth the red dino chuckled before opening his mouth and dropping the small rookie into it. The Growlmon waited for the Patamon to hit his tongue only to feel nothing hit it.
At first he thought the smaller mon had tried to take flight but was surprised to see he was completely gone. Looking around in confusion the dino suddenly heard a grunt beside him.
Turning his head to a rooftop, the Growlmon saw what could best be described as a Leomon with a different look holding the Patamon in his hands.
Setting the rookie down, the Leomon glared at the larger dino before bringing up his hands and began to perform a series of hand signs.
Growling in anger the larger dino charged towards the lion man intent to shred him into pieces as the blades on his arms began to glow.
Suddenly the Leomon ended on his last hand sign before his body began to give off a blue tinted glow.
Below the large dino digimon the shadows began to warp and change to that of a lion's head. Right as the Growlmon was within inches of cutting down the leo the shadow lion opened its mouth causing the dino to fall in.
What followed was a large gulp that seemed to echo throughout the village before the shadows disappeared.
Staring in shock at what they witnessed the villagers suddenly remembered the lion digimon who saved them. Looking up at where he once stood they were surprised to see no trace of him except the Patamon he saved who was also looking around in confusion at the feline's disappearance.
A few miles out of the village a large figure could be seen walking away from the village. Both the tails of his headband and tufted tail swayed in the warm sun while a tractor tire size golden brown belly shined in the sun light.
Stifling a belch, the Shinobi Leomon grunted as he felt the Growlmon inside bulge out the occasional claw or face as it tried to escape the tight confines of his gut but all it did was speed up the digestion of both his body and data.
Letting out another belch the Leomon suddenly felt something hacked up with it as a slime belt from the Growlmon landed with a wet spat against some rocks.
Rubbing the spit from his mouth, the Leomon sighed as he felt his stomach settle before continuing on his way. His destination was no place in particular, he just wondered looking to protect those who needed help.
With a couple of waddled steps the wind suddenly picked up before a small whirlwind of leaves and dust appeared covering the lion and as quick as it appeared it was over along with any trace of the lion ninja digimon.
