Can't fault a guy for choosing practicality in undergarments! Especially a nerd that's often on the receiving end of bullying, it's probably a good idea to skip the bright colors and patterns if you're getting pantsed on an almost daily basis, and if he gets wedgied or something those undies are cheap and easy to replace if the waistband gets stretched out. Not to mention, if he wears underwear this boring, there's less of an incentive to expose them!
