On Twitter this evening, there's been a fair amount of talk of how long each of us's been in the fandom ('twas my fourth year on FA yesterday!), and whatnot. I got the thought that I should go rumaging through some old boxes and crates from my past.
I just so happened to stumble upon a rugged scrap-book from when I was some two/three years old. Among collages, scribbles and so on, I found this. A very creased, dust(and wax crayon)-scented piece of cardboard.
Guess who!

nice work man, it could be a little more fleshed out with a background.
also the lighting seems a bit off, but the proportions are pretty good, also try to not use too much green next time, it clashes with the red as it is a complimentary color.
I also like the framing of the shot, i can clearly see you went for the "my buddy" target audience and the 360 controller adds that tiny bit of nerd-cred that will get the geeks on board with the pic.
I really love what you did with this, with any other person i would say its just a shitty ass dragon, drawn with crayons on a piece of toilet-paper, held by a total moron, but you gave this soul and a deeper meaning man.
I really wish I would be this talented.

Yours screams DRAGON immediately, but my BF couldn't even tell that the red one on my pic is supposed to be a squirrel, he thought its a fox. :(
I really tried to get the same composition there but its just not the same as yours.
