Tragically, this husky girl was killed at the tender age of twenty, by her reckless wolf boyfriend, after they fought one fateful storming night, and he crashed driving drunk with her in his car. Her family was inconsolable, and at first she was too. But she eventually forgave him, taking pity on his broken remorseful soul.
Years after, as the reckless young wolf had grown older and humbler, he was gradually led to a small church, where he found forgiveness and saving grace. The angel of his life, the sweet husky girl, was looking down on him and she cried in joy as his lifelong burden got a little lighter that Sunday. And even now, she smiles as she watches over him, patiently waiting for the day when she'll see him again and can say that it's all right, that she's not hurt anymore, and he's not either, and he doesn't need to bear his burden ever again. That love covers all wrongs.
For everyone who carries burdens, let today be the day you let them go. Forgive the ones who need forgiving, love the ones who have borne pain all their lives, alone. Sketched in more than an hour, colored in several hours, while listening to JLS' Everybody in Love. And I ain't gonna lie, I cried hard almost the whole time I was making this. And this pic still threatens to make me cry. This is the heart I want to reveal, the true kind of art I want to do.
