
Not the most inspired painting, or title for that matter, but the first painting I have done in many years.

It works very similarly in that you can pull paint from the pencil as if it's a little paint block <-- looks more like traditional watercolor since you'er painting with water and the pigment is on the brush
OR
you can draw with the pencil first and then add water to blend it, which is more vibrant than the other method because it's like putting straight paint on the picture, or dry-brushing

hmmmm I've used it on a lot of things, I have heavy smooth paper skethbooks because I'm not big on texture and it works fine. They do work on watercolor as well, I would suggest something moderately heavy since they are mainly water based and you don't want your paper to buckle TOO badly. Even still, if it does, what I do is put my art in news print or between copy-paper and put the weight of large books on it to flatten it back out. it works. <:
