Here, the Dog complains about ``what an inhospitable town! They even threw a dead cat at us!'' This gave us the cat's response, which is really good and a solid introduction to his character. I copied from a book reprint of select Walt Kelly fairy tales and, oddly, the cat is much easier to understand in the online scan of the comic book. It'll happen.
