In their debut drawing, I mentioned that Captain Clowny and Binky the Big Baby Clown were inspired by a doodle that Junior had drawn after he had read some superhero comic books. This idea was inspired by one of the first drawings I had commissioned of this version of these characters, done by an artist who goes by Zal-prime . When I first saw the finished drawing, I thought that it looked as though Junior himself had drawn the picture, as his own way of inserting himself and Pop-Pop into the comics. I came to like the idea so much that I ended up incorporating it into the story itself. Isn't it funny how inspiration can come from such unusual places?
