This is Sky the Wolf, one of my Original Sonic Characters for my Sonic AU series, Sonic Freedom Forever.

The story goes that Sky was originally part of the Wolf Pack lead by Lupe the Wolf, at a very young age he unknowingly discovered by accident that he possessed the great power to control the wind, with it he can use it for gentle purposes like to clear up fog/gas, or use it for violent means towards anything that posed a threat by striking with harsh winds which includes creating small tornados, and also he can use it to push himself when running forward which allows him to run at faster speeds. Considering that the Wolf Pack are spiritual in their culture, they believe that Sky and his power are part of a greater destiny to restore balance. One day their home was attacked by the Eggman Empire but then the famous Sonic the Hedgehog and his team of Freedom Fighters came by to help out and with some great help from Sky himself they managed to drive out Eggman's forces. Sonic and his friends were then greatly honoured and would do anything to repay them, to which case Sky decided to offer himself to become a part of Sonic's team and to leave his pack, coming to the conclusion that he has out grown his usefulness with the Wolf Pack and is ready to join with Sonic and his friends as part of his "destiny". Lupe agrees to accept Sky's decision and leaves his former pack, now he is ready for adventure and to save the world from Dr. Eggman or any other forces of evil.

Another thing to note is that Sky has a crush on Clove the Pronghorn.
