In one of the more recent sessions of a pathfinder 2 game I'm in, my ratfolk sorcerer Flow accidentally bought a cursed direwolf fur coat. She found herself reduced to a whimpering, woofing direwolf at odd intervals, spending her days as a mix between ratfolk and wolf. While mortifying at first (oh dear, those pets feel so good...!) she learned to enjoy her time as a direwolf, spending it free of the expectations of nobility that her name and usual appearance carried with it.
