Seems that through some clever transfer of resources through the raptordragon's tail, the igwulf has managed to dodge fate and promptly begins to... Kindly massage the gut he's just escaped that is still holding his friend, Evoc...?! It's clear that someone here is being played and betrayed. But who...?

At least not in the original scene. After being devoured again and expelled from Evoc's tailmaw, Reed sets about doing this to try to free his friend, waking her in this way, getting the gryphoness to believe that she's still in a dream, and relaxing her enough for him to hypnotize...
Though, in an alternate line of events, it could be awfully ambiguous as to who the victim is about to be here, it could be any of the three.

Oh, hey, look. I remembered the wings this time. Albeit as something of an afterthought.
