Commission for Parazael, a longstanding frined of mine and her Phero Ecumene marine with a fascinating secret side, Echo.
Parazael is a big fan of those strange out-there angelic designs. You know the ones, where it sort of looks human but also looks like an out-of-proportions android with something you could only vaguely call a head. So it was really fun to try out something bizarre but also divine and etheral for a character design. Echo herself was a good chance to also practice human shapes (faces especially) and nail down that cell-shaded style I've been looking for.
Just imagine the Psal'Jinnai as smoky godlike fairies with good intentions that maybe come off as really weird when you think about their behaviours.
