IF you are really depsprate to get up on the colossus, use the burrned out tree shown here, however the tree will catch fire once the colossus gets close enough (though it isn't on fire right now)


there is a secret to this colossus.
if you don't redirect the channel, it hatches within five minutes of being aproached for the first time
when it hatches it is fully formed and a wee bit tougher as it will still use the fire attack, but water won't harm it. Also, its weak spot will be hidden under it's mask, on teh tip of the blade and on the palm of its hand
