After almost two weeks, my Nevrean studies are finally comming to an end, with Yoko, my first really complete male Nevrean.
I'm happy with what I was able to achieve, and I'm sure drawing more Nevs in the future will help me a lot.

Yoko Kal is a male Nevrean born in 36-RC in Gold Ring. His parents were direct refugees from the war, so he never knew what his real origins were. He grew up with people constantly reminding him of what the Northerners did to them during the war, but Yoko never hold any grudges to them, as he considers that everyone needs a second chance.

Everything went alright until the moment when he became friends with Vez, a northern sergal, with golden eyes. The two became best friends really quick, as the young sergal was lost in his new environment. Of course this was not perceived very well amongst his familly and some of the refugees. One night, Him and Vez were both assaulted by unknown aggressors. Yoko was badly wounded on his head and on his neck, while Vez was almost drowned. It was due to some guards' intervention that everything ended well.

This night left Yoko with a big trauma that made his feathers' colors turn completly white at the location where he was beaten.
Things got worse with time, as some children made fun of him because of that. However, Yoko stayed positive and optimistic, and kept Vez as his friend, even with everything that happened.

Years later, when the events of "Sabi No Wa" happened, Yoko choose to fight for the ones like him who were different, and for those who wanted rights. As much as he wanted those rights for everyone, he always stayed pacific and never fought the government of Gold Ring directly, in comparison to some extreme members of the movement, who formed the Out Ring.

With time, his voice was heard, and with some others Nevreans, he was autorized to have a voice in the subject of them as refugees in Gold Ring, and helped earning their rights in the region.
