"How could you leave me?"
The floppy eared saber lion asked as tears streamed down her face. She had just told Kiba, the wandering lion who her pride had welcomed and the one who had stolen her heart. But he had done that many times before, this time was no different.
"I love you and am carrying your cub."
She cried out.
Kiba barely reacted to the news as he looked back at her with an emotionless gaze and spoke but a few words.
"I never loved you."
he stated simply before turning and walking off into the night, leaving the she-saber to cry to the heavens.
