One of my favorite holsters with my favorite cowboy "the duke" John Wayne.
This was done by taking a raw piece of leather and carving the image onto it. Then hand dying the image with a paint brush.
The sidearm is a Taurus Judge Public Defender. It Fire either a 410 shotgun shell or a 45 LC.

Taurus makes a great handgun, but I draw the line at the Judge. Found that the cylinder sometimes spalls lead from the side upon firing. Plus unless you are using#4 or #2 shot if using the shotgun method, doesn't spread well at most encounter ranges, usually less than 20 feet.
Not knocking the brand, got a 856 Defender TORO and a 856 snubbie in .357 myself.
Great holster

Thank you on the compliment on the holster. I've only only fired either . 45 LC. Or self defense . 410. Out of it. Being an armorer, somehow shooting bird shot, or anything else designed to be shot from a shotgun tube. Didn't seem viable being forced into the cone of a revolver. The holster was designed to fit a . 357. I didn't like the exposed trigger. On the pictured sidearm.
On the .410 Defense loads, those are usually 4 000 buckshot balls, I'd rather put faith in a decent hollow point .45 round doing the job effectively.
Its like those recoil junkies who buy the Derringers in .45-70, where the tip of the bullet is a half inch from the muzzle and when fired, you get a massive fireball of burning gunpowder along with the blast. Utterly useless, especially with a derringer.
But with a standard shotgun, say a 20 or 12 gauge in a 20 inch barrel, #2 or #4 shot in encounter ranges of 20-25 feet is seriously nasty infliction.
