This was an experience here. A spicy marinade of ginger, green chilies, garlic, turmeric, peanuts and coconut milk over chicken with potatoes. This had a very unique flavor thanks to the addition of cinnamon.
I deliberately added extra chilies to make it hotter. This is another curry I will surely make again. It's green color may look a bit funky but it certainly was colorful.
One minor error I made here was fiddling with the potatoes a bit too much. If you break up the potatoes they create their own thickener which can make the sauce too damn thick. Still tasty though. =9
There's the patented Purple Rice again. So gay...

Aww, you can't bash Tony :( He's fairly self-deprecating. I like him for what he is...which I guess isn't so much a cook anymore lol.
In terms of cooking have you watched America's Test Kitchen? It's like the Consumer Reports of cooking shows. Ridiculously insightful and intriguingly scientific in their approach. Iron Chef is great and I ALWAYS watch Top Chef. Currently Top Chef Masters is on it's 2nd run. I learned about Rick Bayless in the first season and have nothing but respect for that man!

Ah I had to run out and get the latest eps. I miss the regular show though. I enjoy watching the young upstarts whip up crazy shit. I don't think i've seen Test Kitchen yet, though I was aware of it. With no tv service of any kind, I get wind of most shows 2nd hand or when I go to visit my folks. Trouble is every time I watch cable or whatever, the format of the shows and the commercials fill me with such murderous rage I don't think I'll ever get cable or satellite. (it's also not an option here...)
