In this chapter we'll talk about the main race on Lux. So, let's keep that in mind, when you see 'Luxian' word, I mean 'the member of the Heir race'.

So, the most of the planet's a barren wasteland riddled with rocks and shrouded in water vapour. Because of it Luxians culture based on a nomadic way of life. They have to move from one place to another to give the area a rest for few years. Cause of it Luxian's houses and even whole cities doesn't stant on the one place, but moved by animals or various devices.

For example, Emperor palace is moved by three huge elephants (yes, they are really look like earth elephants). The Palace is depicted on the Lux's coat of arms.

In the early ages plant civilization tried to become like dead Senjor race. They didn't wonder what caused the death of the powerful creatures. And Licci, the guardian of the Sanctuary, didn't want to share his knowledge. *story about Senjor race is here*

There's a way which was chosen by Lux Empire - unbreakable faith in Senjor's Ideal and exclusivity of Lux. Geographical fragmentation didn't hamper Luxian's social unity. Every Luxian believed in Ideal of Empire, every believed in the Emperor*. All cities gathered in the Field of Sanctuary for worship ceremony once a year. Luxians communicated among themself and listened Licci's stories about power of Senjor race.
And Licci... Licci just despised the new race, but wanted to use their Harmonic energy for opening the Gates so he could kick they out of his planet. Well, he had to pretend to be 'kind mentor' to get what he wants one day...

*Emperor is the strongest warrior of Lux, the first apprentice of Licci. He was the first who comprehended the way to interact with the Harmonic energy, who stepped into the Gates and went to the other worlds.

Heir race had developed very intensive because of Licci's influence, and after a while, Luxians enslaved their less successful brethren - now they're called 'Lowly race'. The basic access to Senjor race's knowledge allowed the Luxians to learn to use Harmonic energy in 'magic' way.

Heir race also adopted unusual Senjors customs. For example, Luxians - asexual plant organisms - has learned social roles of different genders and became to change their appearance according own wish.


After a thousand of years Heir race had made significant progress and had mastered travel across planets via Portal of World Heart. Lux Emperor decided to colonise planets whose inhabitants were underdeveloped. But the expansion was stopped rough by Guardinals of other Gates. That's when Heir race found out about disaster with the Senjor race, about fragile balance of Harmonic energy and entropy in the world and about rules of proper interaction with the World Heart. That knowledge caused such a shift in Luxians understanding that it was thereafter referred to as 'The Great Revelation'.

Then Luxians have decided to create an Alliance whose main objective has been to monitor the development of the backward planets. And Lux Empire started educational and missionary activities on other planets to teach their inhabitants using Harmonic energy.

To make the missionary activities possible the most hardy and capable members of the species were selected and grown. In few generations, clan of Missionaries has undergone substantial changes in inner structure. Now Missionary is literally different than any other of Heir race.

For example, halo. Owing to a long-term stay on the planets with little light and without nutritious fog Missionary's halo has become amazingly developed. It allows the members of clan to survive a hostile environment for few years without any serious consequences.

And years later, some of other civilization have reached the level of development on the practical use of Harmonic energy that could justify their membership in Alliance. And the most deserving, in the view of Lux Empire, candidates were admitted to the Alliance.


And thus begins Spectrum Era.
