My aarakocra druid! He/Him
I drew this a while ago now but figured i should upload his reference before I post more of him maybe...
Annnnd because most of the party doesn't follow me here I feel fine about posting his background here fft.
About info for start of campaign:
When Torvus was a child he was on an airship traveling with family (he thinks?) he doesn’t remember. But he does remember the fire and the sound of large wings. He was pulled from a wreckage by gnomes from a village not far from the crash and went into the care of Dr. Mom when other’s didn’t think he would make it.
Dr. Mom is just known as The Doctor to others as there are a lot of rumors about how experimental and dangerous her treatments are, patients usually see her as a last resort. She is however a very good mom to Torvus, teaching him about medicine and putting him to work relatively young. He is often more in the way than helpful so usually ran errands around town and as he got older he went on errands to other towns further out. Torvus ghastly appearance when out and about does not help with the rumors and he doesn’t really like to be out and hearing comments about it.
Torvus is 26-ish at the start of the campaign and a bit of a recluse when he’s not on a mission. Dr.Mom has being trying to push him out to meet people and doesn’t want him cooped up in gnome village. More harshly scolding at first but to his protests she’s resorted to being sneaker about it. She has been giving him harder shopping lists so he has more real world time. And I would say the latest shopping list is the hardest yet and that’s where Id pick up with him traveling in the campaign.
MISC:
He keeps a little book where he does scientific illustrations of herbs and things and takes a billion notes of everything (part of his equipment from hermit background). He is also very good with words on paper and paper only. He keeps his small patchwork children’s bag(sentimental item) with his food inside his main explorers pack.
Aside from his face being grafted on he also has ratty looking feathers that grew back uneven, and a couple spots that he keeps bandaged for comfort because the feathers did not grow back at all in those places. Also he’s trans
