Final movement of Debussy's "Petite Suite," entitled "Ballet." Originally written for piano (four hands, I think), this arrangement was performed by my quintet recently.

Well, what can I say, it was a pleasure listening to these performances (well they're only one performance, anyway)
Your ensemble's interpretation is spot on, the notes are all clear and well defined, but still very dreamy, like what I expect Debussy's
music to sound. It seems the arranger was rather fond of the horn though, it seems that it was the most prominent instrument,
of course it's always the whole that has to work together perfectly to make something beautiful, and you have done so wonderfully!
I'll have to look into this piece, it sounds wonderful, I've heard it played on the piano, but no matter how much the piano can achieve
in terms of tone colour I think I enjoyed this a bit more (after all the piano is just one instrument).
Well, again, congrats! It was really wonderful to listen to, thanks for posting it!

Wow, I'm really happy you liked it so much! Thank you also for taking the time to post such a thoughtful, detailed response. Yes, I suppose the horn is very prominent throughout. Apparently it's a very difficult part. Though it might also sound prominent because we had to perform against the wall (reflects the horn) in a small room, so the horn can barely play without taking over. :)
