Seem a life ago ain't it. But things change Kalita, is what you hold dear in your heart that matter most.
I also found interesting the word Kalita used, sanctuary, a safe place, Kalita really put her heart in the roda-kira gang and in its credo at the time.
I hope that she will find a way to move further. And reconcile with Debbie in the future

It's very sad and heartbreaking for Kalita, even as street tough and as a strong woman that she is. I too hope that she could move on forward from her losses, just as Muko is trying to do. Also I do hope that eventually that vixen would if possible make up and restore her friendship with Debbie again. It's very depressing how it seems she lost her special friends and a special "family" of whom and where she had felt a strong belonging to. Everything just seems empty without them.
Except I don't hate Kalita because of her airheadedness, pervyness, lack of combat instincts or because she was literally sobbing and screaming for her mom after getting her head bashed into the floor by a sadistic psychopath.
I hate her because she's so self-absorbed that she publicly humilated one of her old friends for not abandoning her new life in favor of the one where she almost died.
Muko never demanded someone to put their very lives at stake for what is dear to her, and she certainly never berated and guilt-tripped them for saying no. Kalita may have her own stuggles, but that doesn't change the fact that she flat-out ignores the safety of others to fulfill her own desires. That has to change long before I start liking her.

In way Muko and Kalita are mirror of each other. Both are young women (18-20 at best) struggling with growing pains, and lack of maturity(Muko more obvious and genralized than Kalita's) and some heavy backgroung baggage(btw we have not yet seen what happened to Muko's mom). Bu while Muko is optmism made bunny, Kalita is the most cynical Fox ever. Whil Muko trust others to near self hurt, Kalita always distrust people and expect the worst. While Muko while clumsy try to be friendly(almost too much friendly) Kalita is abrasive and tough. While Muko never hide her true self, what you see is what Muko is, Kalita has different masks for different setting(the biker girl, the honor student, the hen mother of orphanage...).
In a way they are born to be a tag team, as they will probably learn a thing of two frm the other...but Muko had to BEAT THE CRAP outta of Kalita to do so. Some people learn only by being punched hard.

I feel bad for Kalita. It's clear that she will never recover the Roda Kira Gang she used to love. Her gang was corrupted by Gantus, Leyline was turned against her because of his addiction, and Debbie moved on with her life. The only thing Kalita can do now is move forward, but she doesn't know how.
