Making Holey's head was fun, especially the piercings; I made the earrings milk jars. So was making the mohawk. Nevertheless, there were challenges, as usual. What confused me was where to place the ears in relation to the horns, since they're so close to each other. Therefore, I looked up some cow reference images and it turns out that the ears are placed a little farther backwards from the horns.
If you're wondering why I made only the head, there's a couple of reasons. For one, it's a lot faster than making the whole body. Second, just making the heads is what I want to fill up my portfolio with. I love working on one character, then moving onto the next. Animals have so many different head shapes, so that's the part I'm pinpointing. As my portfolio grows, I'll have a bunch of character heads to choose from to make into full bodies, possibly.
